On Thursday, 11/19/09, from 3:00 AM to 6:59 AM, the IT Networks & Security Data Team will be upgrading a portion of the BoilerNet network to meet the new Purdue Network 2010 standard. Specifically the network will be upgraded in the Schwartz Tennis Center (SCHW), Smalley Center (SMLY), and the Transportation Maintenance Building (TMB).
AFFECTED CLIENTS: Clients within SCHW, SMLY, and TMB should plan to experience disruption of both wired network connectivity (via data PIC) and wireless network connectivity (via PAL/PAL2.0).
SCOPE OF WORK: During the scheduled outage window, affected clients in SCHW and SMLY should plan to experience service disruptions for up to 1.5 hours in duration and affected clients in TMB should plan to experience service disruptions for up to 1 hour in duration.

On Thursday, November 19th starting at 9:00 AM, the database currently supporting the Human Resources' Endpoint application will be migrated into the ITSO production database environment.
No impact upon other systems or applications is expected.

On Thursday, November 19th, 2009 beginning at 12:00 PM, the production Oracle Grid will be unavailable while the OMS, repository, and servers are patched. The Grid will not be available until the patching is complete. The maintenance should be concluded by 2:00 PM.

Because of recurring issues with the ColdFusion Mail (specifically the Outage Notification emails) getting stuck and not being able to send, we are implementing a temporary solution to get this email moving by setting up a scheduled task on the web server.

Remedy Group Update - No Downtime Required. On 11/19/2009 from 8:15 PM to 11:15 PM we will be making several modifications to the One Purdue groups.
